First Lie Wins by Ashley Elston

For me, this was a slow burn thriller. Ashley Elston did a phenomenal job building the characters and tying everything together. There were times when I was questioning why a passage or particular detail was included and every single time I ended up telling myself THAT is why. 

It wasn’t until I was about two thirds done with the book that I couldn’t seem to put it down. Again, this is about the time where those previously mentioned questioned passages came full circle and everything just clicked.

I was sucked in and desperate to see how it ended.
