Summer Romance by Annabel Monaghan

Ali is a newly separated single mom, who also recently lost her mother. She is struggling to deal with the grief of her mother’s loss as well as losing her husband.

She is quite possibly at her lowest point when she decides enough is enough and meets someone at the dog park who spikes her interest.

Throughout this book Ali rediscovers herself and becomes the strong woman she once was.  She’s smart, driven and fun. Her kids adore her and Ethan is her biggest cheerleader.

My only qualm with this book is that I felt like the author tried to make Ethan out to be this magical great guy, and yeah compared to Ali’s first husband, Ethan was much better. But he was just doing what a normal person should do in a relationship. He was respectful, supportive, kind and loving.

Overall, I thought this was a really cute book and it had some good messages throughout the book. Totally a great summer romance and would definitely recommend!
